Christian has worked as an assistant debate coach at the Blake School in Minneapolis, MN since 2014. Since then he has coached multiple major invitational champions, state champions, national champions (NDCA and TOC), and PF Season Excellence Award winners along with finalists and other deep elimination round participants. Since 2015, Christian has worked as a senior lab leader at the Harvard Debate Councilβs Summer Workshops, a Director of Public Forum at Dartmouth Debate Initiative(2017) and a Curriculum Coordinator/Senior lab leader at the National Debate Forum(2017-2021). Heβs excited to bring a love for activity and hopes to share that with students at PFBC this summer. Β

Bryce Piotrowski is the Director of Forensics at St. Lukes. While a student at the University of Minnesota β go Gophs! β Bryce coached Public Forum for the Lakeville Debate Team, growing the squad from a couple of students to a nationally competitive squad of a dozen debaters. Bryce also served as the President of the student-run Minnesota NPDA (National Parliamentary Debate Association) team, winning the Minnesota state tournament three times. Bryce has coached Public Forum at summer camps since graduating from high school, and served as the Director of the Dartmouth Debate Instituteβs Public Forum Division in 2020, Senior Instructor at the National Debate Forum from 2018 to 2021, and an instructor at the Minnesota Debate Institute in 2018 and 2019. Bryce is excited to co-direct the fifth session of PFBC!

Katheryne did three years of national circuit PF for Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland, where she was a three time qualifier to the TOC. As a competitor, she won several bid tournaments and earned multiple top speaker awards. Some notable accomplishments include: top speaker at Lexington, Lakeland, and the Harvard Round Robin, top-5 speaker awards at Valley, Blake, the Blake Round Robin, and Bronx, semifinalist at the TOC, 2x champion of the Valley Mid-America Cup (2020 and 2021), finalist at the Harvard Round Robin, semifinalist at Blake and the Blake Round Robin, and quarterfinalist at Harvard, Blake, and Stanford. As a coach, Katheryne has worked as an assistant at Taipei American School as well as ISD and NSD, where she has worked with multiple TOC qualifiers and highly competitive students. As an assistant coach, she has helped her students make deep runs and champion multiple national tournaments, most notably placing 3rd at NSDA nationals, championing the Cavalier Invitational, and much more. As a coach, Katheryne emphasizes fundamental skills and drill-based work to build a solid foundation in debate for her students. She also has experience with responding to and adapting critical argumentation styles to PF. Katheryne is very excited to join NDC and believes that the structure of working closely with four students over the course of an entire season fosters community and the best opportunity to refine skills and push for a successful competitive season! She greatly looks forward to meeting all of you.

Parker is an NSDA Diamond coach who currently serves as the Director of Speech and Debate at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, IA. Since becoming head coach at Roosevelt, his teams have won the Iowa state championship and qualified to the Tournament of Champions every year, culminating in his first partnership clearing to elimination rounds at TOC in 2025. In addition to PFBC, Parker also leads labs at NDF and NSD. Parker enjoys all styles of debate and believes that it is the single best thing students can do with their time in school. He is looking forward to meeting everyone at camp!

Tom has been a senior lab leader at PFBC for 2 years, coaching dozens of alumni to the TOC. He has also led labs at NSD and UC Berkeley. As a competitor, Tom debated as both at first and second speaker for Park City High School, where he amassed 8 TOC bids and qualified to the Gold TOC twice. Most notably, he won Alta Silver & Black, reached semifinals at Stanford, and made deep elimination runs at Glenbrooks, Apple Valley, UK Season Opener, Mid America Cup, UNLV Golden Desert, and Yale. He holds a BA in economics from McGill University.

A former head speech and debate coach at Park City High School and current assistant coach at the Nueva School, Gavinβs students have advanced to elimination rounds at almost every major national invitational, including the TOC, NDCA Nationals, and NSDA Nationals. Gavin leads labs at NDF, Berkeley, and the Utah Debate Coachesβ Association summer institute; he is particularly thrilled to be joining the PFBC. Gavin studies economics and campaign management at the University of Utah.

Chad Meadows is the Director of Debate at Western Kentucky University and an Assistant with the Marist School in Atlanta Georgia. In a little over a decade of debate coaching, Chad has worked with 7 national champions in college Lincoln-Douglas debate and worked with some of the most prolific students in public forum debate both during the season and the summer at various debate institutes. Β More than anything, Chad believes debate success can be attained by any student willing to master its fundamentals and be a positive member of the debate community. Β He is excited to bring that approach to the Boot Camp this summer.

Maddie is the head coach of Lakeville Debate in Minnesota where sheβs worked since 2019. She has qualified students every year to the Minnesota State Tournament, NSDA Nationals, and the Tournament of Champions, as well as coached students to frequently reach late out rounds and final both national circuit and local tournaments. Her students specifically have championed Yale, Badgerland, and Dowling and reached late out rounds at Bronx, Apple Valley, and Blake. Outside of Lakeville, sheβs coached at various summer camps since 2019 and teaches debate classes. She also has a degree in political science from the University of Minnesota and works in the Lakeville School District Office.

Bryan debated at the Awty International School in Houston, Texas. As the only PF team at his school and without a coach, he was ranked as high as #2 in the nationβqualifying and clearing at the TOC sophomore year while winning TFA State junior year. Some other accomplishments of his include semifinaling the Blake tournament, finaling Glenbrooks and DSDS3, and winning Presentation and the California Round Robin. He specializes in substance / policy debate, but has experience with all sorts of arguments. He is looking forward to working with everyone!

Rahul debated for 2.5 years at Lincoln-Sudbury where he served as a PF Debate Captain and earned 8 bids to the TOC. He also qualified to NSDA Nationals 2x. His competitive highlights include octofinaling TOC, championing Stanford, finalling the Harvard Round Robin, and quarterfinaling Glenbrooks. He also was an invitee to the Ivy Street Round Robin. He mostly ran substance positions throughout his career, but was most passionate about and became a strictly Phil/K debater for a large part of his senior year. He is also one of the top lay debaters on the circuit.

Farhan is a rising college freshman at Harvard who plans to study bioengineering. He debated in public forum at Lincoln-Sudbury for four years. Some of his most notable accomplishments are reaching finals at Harvard and Yale, and qualifying for NSDA nationals and Gold TOC twice each (reaching octafinals his senior year). He also accumulated 14 career bids and has received top-10 speaker awards at tournaments like Harvard, Bronx, and Lexington. Farhan specializes in lay/flay debate, but he also likes phil. Previously, Farhan coached at local debate camps and was a debate captain at his high school for two years, where he coached one of the teams to semifinal the Harvard tournament their novice year. Farhan is excited to teach at PFBC this summer!

Cruz debated at Strake Jesuit, earning 11 bids over his career. He won Blake and Grapevine, ranked #2 nationally, and reached deep elimination rounds at TFA, Emory, Apple Valley, UKSO, Longhorn, ASU, and FBK. He also top spoke at the Harvard Round Robin. In debate, Cruz spent most of his time on both sides of the Kritik but especially enjoys going for impact turns. Outside of debate, he likes niche mobile games and listening to Jane Remover. He's excited to work at PFBC this summer!

Max debated public forum at The Nueva School for three years, where he was co-captain for two years. He qualified for the Tournament of Champions twice, reaching quarterfinals his senior year, and ranked as high as top 15 in the nation. Max also reached late elimination rounds at various tournaments, including semifinals at ASU, quarterfinals at Nano Nagle, and octofinals at Glenbrooks and the UK Season Opener, along with breaking at Bronx, Emory, Milo Cup, and Columbia. He received multiple speaker awards, including 2nd at the UK Season Opener and top 20 at both ASU and Glenbrooks. His speciality is in technical substance debate, although he also dabbled in tricks, philosophy, and theory. He is very excited to coach at PFBC this summer!

Ruhi has debated Public Forum for 4 years at Blake and coached PF for one year at Taipei American. Her most notable achievements include winning the Barkley Forum, MN State, and the Blake Round Robin, finaling Glenbrooks, octafinaling the TOC, and semifinaling the UK Season Opener. She's qualified to Nats and the GTOC three times, and placed eighth at Nats. Now, she is studying economics and computer science at Northwestern University. As a PFBC alum, she's very excited to come back to coach this summer!

Kayte debated for four years at The Nueva School under Nueva CG, where she co-captained the Public Forum team for three years. During her career, she ranked as high as #1 in the nation and received invitations to all of the top round robins. Kayte's accomplishments include winning ASU, reaching semifinals at both Jack Howe and Bronx, and advancing to outrounds at tournaments like TOC, Glenbrooks, UKSO, Presentation, Milpitas, and Emory. She has a particular favor for kritiks and lay debate. Kayte excels in providing round feedback and supporting students with lay and kritik case construction. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes student-driven learning, encouraging iterative revision and growth over first time perfection. Kayte is excited to coach at PFBC to give back to the debate community, share her enthusiasm for kritiks, and to work with you!

Kabir debated as PF Captain at William Fremd and National Debate Club. He earned 12 TOC bids and qualified to Gold TOC twice in just 2 years on the national circuit. He has consistently been ranked within the top 10 debaters in the country, peaking at #1 in 2026. Some of his top accomplishments include winning the Apple Valley and ASU tournaments, as well as reaching semifinals of the California Round Robin, King Round Robin and TOC. He prefers technical substance and theory debates, but is also proficient in other forms of argumentation.

Riki competed for two years on the national circuit in Public Forum Debate for William Fremd High School in the Chicago area, accumulating over 10 bids to the TOC. His notable accomplishments include championing Apple Valley and Arizona State, semifinaling the Gold TOC his senior year, and reaching the semifinals of the King Round Robin and Cal Round Robin. He quarterfinaled Jack Hower Stanford and reached octofinals at Emory twice. Among his speaker awards, he earned 2nd speaker at the Barkley Forum. On the local circuit, Riki was a state champion and served as All-State captain. Riki loves all styles of debate, with a particular passion for flay and theory.

Dhruv debated on the national circuit for three years at Westwood High School, serving as captain his senior year. He earned 6 bids, making semis at Glenbrooks, and quarters at the TOC, TFA State, Berkeley, and UT. He also received speaker awards at tournaments like TOC, UT, and Emory. He loves all types of technical debate, whether it's Policy or the Fiat K. Outside of debate, he loves playing volleyball, reading manga, and hanging out with friends. He is very excited to coach at PFBC this summer!

Shaurya debated in Public Forum on the national circuit for three years, competing under Westwood SP. His most notable achievements include qualifications to GTOC (quarters), TFA State (quarters), and NSDA Nationals, deep elims at numerous national tournaments (ie, Glenbrooks, UT, Berkeley, Emory, Grapevine, FBK, Churchill), top 10 peak rank nationally, as well as invitations to the California and Florida Blue Key Round Robins. He specializes in all forms of tech debate and is excited to work with PFBC this summer!
