Madelyn Cook

Maddie is the head coach of Lakeville Debate in Minnesota where she’s worked since 2019. She has qualified students every year to the Minnesota State Tournament, NSDA Nationals, and the Tournament of Champions, as well as coached students to frequently reach late out rounds and final both national circuit and local tournaments. Her students specifically have championed Yale, Badgerland, and Dowling and reached late out rounds at Bronx, Apple Valley, and Blake. Outside of Lakeville, she’s coached at various summer camps since 2019 and teaches debate classes. She also has a degree in political science from the University of Minnesota and works in the Lakeville School District Office.
