Riki Balu

Riki competed for two years on the national circuit in Public Forum Debate for William Fremd High School in the Chicago area, accumulating over 10 bids to the TOC. His notable accomplishments include championing Apple Valley and Arizona State, semifinaling the Gold TOC his senior year, and reaching the semifinals of the King Round Robin and Cal Round Robin. He quarterfinaled Jack Hower Stanford and reached octofinals at Emory twice. Among his speaker awards, he earned 2nd speaker at the Barkley Forum. On the local circuit, Riki was a state champion and served as All-State captain. Riki loves all styles of debate, with a particular passion for flay and theory.
