PFBC changed my life! Truly the best camp ever. The instructors were so committed and qualified. PFBC really pushes you to get better as a debater - the amount of practice rounds and redos really helps you get out of your comfort zone and learn how to use every speech to improve! Would not be the same debater I am without it.

My ability to stay in the activity—and my love for it—is largely owed to my experience at PFBC in the summer of 2024. The environment felt like home almost immediately. One of PFBC’s greatest strengths is its investment in a collaborative lab culture. However, what truly sets PFBC apart is the emphasis on hands-on application. My partner and I thrived under the rounds-based structure. Instead of sitting through endless lectures, we were constantly applying new concepts and making mistakes we could actually revise in real-time. Without that summer, I never would have been in a position to advocate for the issues I care about or build the connections I’ve carried with me into college.
